This year, Komen San Antonio committed $217,500 to local breast cancer screening, treatment, education and research. Local nonprofits have been selected by an independent Grant Review Panel through a competitive application and rigorous review process. Please note that Susan G. Komen is not a direct service provider. The following is a list of grantee programs provided in Bexar County:
Screening Services
FRIENDS OF CHRISTUS SANTA ROSA

Treatment Assistance
AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY
A free transportation for women in Bexar County who need rides to treatment appointments 210-614-4212
SLEW WELLNESS CANCER CENTER
Provides low-income and uninsured women with aftercare services including: wigs, bras, massage therapy, and counseling. 210-654-7900
THRIVEWELL CANCER FOUNDATION
Program helps provide eligible breast cancer patients with financial assistance towards their cancer treatment. 210-593-5949
WINGS
Provides no-cost treatment services for uninsured women diagnosed with breast cancer who have no other options for care. 210-946-9464

Provides breast health education and outreach to women and their families in the east side of San Antonio. 210-908-9772
